Who We Are
City of Racine & Racine County Violent Crime Reduction Initiative
Violent Crime Reduction Initiative (VCRI) – a holistic approach to reducing gun violence and creating better lives for men and boys, their families, and our community.
We have launched the Violent Crime Reduction Initiative (VCRI) in response to a surge in violent gun crime. This comprehensive strategy aims to address and mitigate the impact of gun violence on our community. The initiative is a collaborative effort involving the City of Racine, Racine County, and the Racine Unified School District, all working together to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. We’ve all come together to take action to address gun violence and to keep our community safe.
